Teachers
At A.S.E., we have very high standards for our classes and instructors. Our teachers are well qualified, and all have had experience working with and teaching children. Both directors, Jeanne Hammonds and Kim Hammonds, have lived in the Santa Clarita Valley over 30 years. Being a part of the community for this length of time has allowed us to acquire incredible teachers from personal friends, word of mouth, churches we have attended, sports programs and the Master's College. We strive to draw from people in our community who have integrity, morals and good character qualities. Because of that, we assure you that your children are safe with us. And of course, all of our employees have been fingerprinted and TB tested.

Adding rich flavor to our classes, A.S.E. teachers come from a variety of backgrounds. Some are or have been professionals in the subject they teach for us, others have played college ball and coached children in their sport, while a few are longtime homemakers with much to share. The instructors who are college students are enthusiastic, great communicators and really know how to teach children, and musicians and dancers hold many years of personal instruction, practice, performances and teaching experience. The following examples are just some of the incredible, talented teachers who work for A.S.E.

GUITAR TEACHER
We received positive response about our talented professional guitar teacher from parents and students alike. He has given guitar lessons for 25 years and played and toured with several bands throughout the years. He currently teaches private lessons and regularly performs. This excellent instructor not only has many years of one-on-one teaching experience, but has also taught many group classes for children and adults. He is an honor's graduate of Musician's Institute of Los Angeles and enjoys and teaches all styles of music.

INCREDIBLE EDIBLE GEOGRAPHY, AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS AND YOUNG PUPPETEERS TEACHER
Enthusiastic and fun, this experienced teacher has taught children for many, many years. She worked for Thomas Brothers Maps Educational Foundation for 13 years. While there, she created "Geography is Everywhere" curriculum and quarterly newsletters, presented activities and ideas at In-service workshops for teachers and much more. This teacher was a professional puppeteer who built puppets with Jim Gamble at Disney World many years ago. She designed and produced professional mouth/hand puppets and taught Arts and Crafts: Puppets as Teaching Aids at the Master's College. Her A.S.E. classes are: Incredible Edible Geography, Around the World in 80 Days and Young Puppeteers. She can incorporate geography into any discipline using hands-on creative activities by using her extensive curriculum, knowledge and experience. We will be adding many of her other classes in the future

MARTIAL ARTS
A.S.E. Enrichment uses Martial Arts instructors from 2 respected academies in the Santa Clarita Valley. Both are part of an organization with high standards for instruction which require CPR certification and a youth protection program. They are very professional, well trained and experienced teachers. Children learn the same instruction that they would at the private academies and after completing a course, have learned many good character qualities such as respect, courtesy, self-confidence and much more. Parents are very happy with the outcome of instruction under these teachers

SPANISH AND BABYSITTING TRAINING TEACHER
A.S.E. Enrichment, Inc.'s Spanish instructor is bilingual and a dynamic teacher. She grew up in Peru where her parents are missionaries, so she speaks Spanish fluently and goes to a Spanish speaking church in the San Fernando Valley. The Spanish teacher took French and Spanish II through IV in high school and advanced Spanish in college. She has tutored Spanish to high school students for 3 years, taught a variety of enrichment classes this past year (girls enjoy her babysitting class), and has worked and taught children for a long time. She is an excellent communicator and is energetic and fun.

MONEY CLASS FOR KIDS, JAZZ DANCE WITH SOME HIP HOP, BALLET AND CHEERLEADING TEACHER
This fun and lively instructor is a communications major at the Master's College and can teach many different classes. She teaches the Money Class for Kids, and while children learn a great deal about real life applications with money, she makes it fun at the same time. She also teaches the Jazz Dance with Some Hip Hop and Ballet. This teacher has taken all forms of dance lessons for 14 years and was on a locally and nationally competitive dance team for 4 years. Finally, she is our fun and outgoing Cheerleading coach. She cheered for 5 years and was the captain her senior year. She has gained more teaching experience as the junior high cheerleading coach at a local school.
